Description
Find out why the game StarForge collapsed and failed miserably, if possible find out what engine they were using, otherwise if it's not easy to find out then don't bother with the engine.

Here is a video essay I found that went over the main points on why this failed.
The key take way from this video is they main items they promised never became a reality. They used Crowd funding to bring this to life so it had a long alpha stage. Transformable terrain produced large performance problems that they were not able to resolve. They also had little to no direction on what the game was suppose to be as they developed it. Also they failed to provide updates as the game progressed leading to unhappy supporters.
