Glass and Mobs

Description
I was inside my single player house and standing in water by the glass and I don't know how long the mobs have been there especially in daylight as I was AFK, some of the arrows and some Koguls nearby caused damage to me. I don't know if this is very consistent.
I have an image, but I don't know how to attach it here. I will put it into discord.
